09/16/24 11:00 AM 09/16/24 1:00 PM America/Chicago Micro School Virtual Series: Internal Organization | September 16th The Herzog Foundation is joined by Daniel Suhr, President of the Center for American Rights, to provide a two-part virtual training series for microschool entities.  In this session of our Micro School Virtual Series, we'll cover the legal considerations for the internal organization of a micro-school. We'll answer questions like, "Should I be a nonprofit or a for-profit?" "How do I organize my board of directors or governance?" "What should be in our student or family handbook?" "How do I make sure I have a legal right to tuition payments?" We'll address these and other questions that focus on how to structure your organization. Please note that this is not a continuation of a previous session, and you do not need to attend any prior training to participate in this one. Who’s It For? This event is open to anyone running or starting a micro-school or to those who serve this type of organization. Churches considering starting a school are also encouraged to attend. All individuals wishing to register must personally complete the registration process and create their own account.
