<strong>Synopsis</strong><br>
Explore the essence of American identity through primary source analysis, writing assignments, discussion prompts, and other activities to help students “connect the dots” by focusing on the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, civic values, American heroes, and exploring the meaning of citizenship to them. Teachers will delve into the rich tapestry of our nation's past, the current landscape, and the hopeful promise of our future. Using resources and curriculum from the Bill of Rights Institute, we will examine the American experience. Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the core principles and civic virtues that unite us as a nation.
