According the National Center for Learning Disabilities, 1 in 5 students have learning and attention issues. That 20% represents over 11 million students in the United States. How many of these students are represented in our Christian schools? How many parents want a Christian education but there isn’t a Christian school that is equipped to help students with learning challenges? In this Special Education training we’ll help your school help your current students who have learning challenges. We’ll help you identify strategies you can easily incorporate with resources you most likely already have to assist many of these students. Additionally, we’ll help you develop a long-term plan to scale your program to serve even more families.
This training is designed for the HOS (or equivalent), Board Members, Academic Deans, and/or Classroom Teachers at Christian schools. Schools and homeschool organizations are encouraged to bring at least 2 attendees. Each organization can bring up to 4 attendees.
All individuals wishing to register must personally complete the registration process and create their own account.
