Synopsis
Our people are our school's greatest asset. But where do you find good teachers and admin.? How do you cultivate top talent? In this teacher shortage, what are strategies to meet the needs of our growing schools? These questions and more will be explored at our Culture 2.0 Recruitment and Retention training.
To attend this training, guests must have attended the Herzog Institute’s Culture Building and Employee Engagement training (Culture 1.0) or come with someone from your school who has attended the 1.0 training.
Your team will discuss value-aligned hiring and evaluations, hiring strategies, cultivating leadership and communication skills among staff, and rethinking pay scales and compensation. You will have ample time to work with the content and apply it to your unique context. Schools are required to do pre-work involving reading, assessments, and organizational identity analysis (mission/vision/values/etc.). Let’s build great teams at our schools!
Who’s It For?
This training is designed for the Head of School (or equivalent) and anyone with hiring and/or people management responsibilities. We strongly encourage at least two members from each organization attend together.
Schedule
Day 1: 4:30pm-8pm | Hotel provided | Allow ample travel time to be ready for our 4:30pm start
Day 2: 8am-5:30pm | Hotel provided | Dinner on your own
Day 3: 8am-12pm | Do not plan travel that would require you to depart early
