This training retreat builds up the leaders of our Christian schools. What is leadership? What does it mean to lead an organization toward a common goal? What are the common pitfalls and barriers to mission advancement? How do we manage our people, time, and resources more effectively given budget constraints and everyday tasks that must get done? At this training, you will learn the fundamentals of what it means to lead and how that differs from management. You will learn the core aspects of rallying a team that must be in place before we create effective systems and strategic plans. On an invitation-only basis, leaders will be invited to a post-training virtual coaching cohort for organizations of your size to walk through the initial strategic planning phase. We will overview the strategic plan process after exploring what must exist before a plan can be created. Who’s It For? We strongly encourage each organization to bring at least two leaders to this training. Ideal participants include the Head of School, board members, aspiring leaders, and other executive leadership team members. This training would also be a great professional development tool for new heads of schools or teachers and admin. team with leadership potential.
