<strong>Guests will complete this Fundamentals of Financial Management Course over 6 weeks. Guests must commit to 4, 2-hour virtual classes with an assignment in between classes #2 and #3. In this 4-part virtual training course, school leaders will explore the foundational practices of Christian schools and nonprofit financial management. This training is designed for school bookkeepers, controllers, and other Christian school leaders hoping to develop their financial and leadership acumen. The learning objectives include: <br>
<ul><li>Understanding the basics of financial accounting specific to Christian schools</li><li>Developing skills for monthly accounting and reporting processes</li><li>Gaining proficiency in managing accrual-based tuition revenue, pledge accounting, accrued wages, and fund accounting</li><li>Understanding the processes and principles involved in budgeting, internal controls, annual audits, and board reporting</li><li>Developing strategies for effective financial planning and accountability</li><li>Developing skills for managing student accounts and accounts payable processes</li><li>Understanding the importance of accurate and timely financial transactions</li><li>Understanding the financial aspects of human resources and auxiliary program management in a Christian school setting</li></ul>
